Job Description
Restoration & Wellness Center is committed to challenging students to achieve academic excellence and personal success by providing state-of-the-art instruction and a challenging curriculum within a warm caring environment in partnership with dedicated parents staff and community.
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid Missouri teaching certificate in Middle School ELA
- Masters Degree Preferred
- Provide standards-aligned instruction for students in all ELA courses.
- Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity interest and abilities of students.
- Guide the learning process toward the achievement of established District curriculum goals establish and communicate clear objectives to the students for all lessons units and projects.
- Employ a variety of instructional techniques and instructional media. Assess the accomplishments of students on a regular basis provide progress reports as required and communicated with parents as deemed necessary.
- Maintain accurate complete and correct records as required by law District policy and administration regulations.
- Develop a code of conduct for the classroom which is consistent with established Discipline Code of the District and the assigned building.
- Develop rules of classroom behavior which are enforced in a fair and just manner. Maintain good attendance.
