Company:
The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for a Mid Level or Experienced Procurement Agent to support the Secondary Structures Team based out of North Charleston South Carolina.
The Procurement Agent plays a pivotal role in managing integrating and improving Boeings supply chain. As a Contracts Procurement Agent your responsibilities will focus on contracting strategy contract negotiation and supplier selection.
This role requires contracting knowledge negotiating and carrying out all aspects of BCA Supply Chain Contracts in support of production programs. Your primary duties include maintaining relationships with external companies and internal collaborators and negotiating cost recoveries engineering changes and contract this role you will be the primary contact with the supplier(s) and will maintain contracts and statement of work within approved BCA Supply Chain policies and procedures.

Position Responsibilities:
- Integrates program customer product and in-service strategies into source selection negotiation and contracting strategies.
- Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions.
- Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
- Conducts risk issues and opportunities management.
- Manages supply and demand schedules supplier quality delivery and financial performance.
- Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements therefore a US Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is Person includes US Citizen lawful permanent resident refugee or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3 or more years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management.
- 3 or more years of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services
- 3 or more years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to travel up to 10-20% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5 years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
- Experience interpreting and/or enforcing contract terms and conditions
- Experience working supplier recoveries
