Job Description

IR Tech Special Procedures (Day Shift)

Location: Atlanta Georgia
Duration: 13 week
Shift Schedule:

  • 4x10 hour shifts: Tuesday Friday
  • Hours: 9:00 AM 7:30 PM
  • Mondays Off

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay: $2400 $2600 (based on experience; negotiable)

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in a variety of interventional procedures including vascular and non-vascular procedures.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure patient safety throughout.
  • Operate imaging equipment (e.g. fluoroscopy digital subtraction angiography).
  • Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to procedural protocols.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained and troubleshoot as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience required.
  • Current BLS certification required.
  • ARRT certification required CI (Cardiac Interventional Radiography) or CV (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography).
  • Strong understanding of sterile technique radiation safety and interventional imaging protocols.
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
