As a Buyer 2 you will play a critical role in our procurement department managing supplier relationships negotiating contracts and ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in procurement processes and MRP systems to improve supplier performance optimize supply chain efficiency and contribute to the overall success of the organization.

• Develop and evaluate MRP (Material Requirements Planning) data to ensure accurate and timely procurement of materials.
• Implement pull systems with suppliers to streamline the supply chain and reduce inventory levels.
• Negotiate lead times with suppliers to meet production schedules and minimize delays.
• Drive improvements in supplier delivery performance through regular performance evaluations and feedback.
• Provide detailed information and analysis for supplier meetings.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term partnerships and reliable supply sources.
• Conduct market research to identify and evaluate potential suppliers ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality products.
• Negotiate contracts terms and pricing with suppliers to secure favorable deals for the organization.
• Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost savings efficiency improvements and risk mitigation.
• Assist in the development and implementation of procurement policies procedures and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production finance and logistics to ensure alignment of procurement activities with overall business objectives.
• This position interacts with all levels of internal and external customers.
• Complies with all Company policies and procedures including safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains a safe work environment and operates in a safe manner.
• Perform other job duties related to the job as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in procurement supply chain management or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of procurement processes supply chain management and contract management.
• Strong analytical negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

This position is currently classified as on-site.

Base Salary Range: $70000..00 per year based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical Dental Vision Life Insurance 401(k) Holidays Vacation Tuition Reimbursement Program.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including but not limited to location skills education and experience.
