Role Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide a warm welcome.
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services and amenities to provide information as required.
- Manage reservations and assist with modifications or cancellations.
- Coordinate with housekeeping for room readiness and special requests.
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Ensure that the front desk area is clean organized and welcoming.
- Support the sales team in upselling services and promotions.
- Prepare reports on daily activities and guest feedback for management.
- Assist in training new front office staff as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and data.
- Promote a positive and professional image of the hotel at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to enhance the guest experience.
- Stay informed about local attractions to provide guests with recommendations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management is a plus.
- Proven experience in a front office or customer service role.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Prior experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage.
