Job Description
Primary: 8:30am-5:00pm; Secondary: 8:15am-4:45pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
The Family Medicine Center Licensed Practical Nurse has responsibilities that include intake processing of patients phlebotomy and EKGs simple patient/family treatment as directed by the professional staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Skills Required:
1. Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
2. Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in New York State.
3. Two (2) years previous medical office experience or primary care experience preferred.
4. 1-2 years of medical/surgical experience preferred.
5. Ability to function as an integral part of a team.
6. Excellent telephone skills
7. Must be detail oriented and organized.
8. Meets requirements of physical/pre-placement screening.
As applicable the individual has training/competency in attending to the special needs and/or behaviors appropriate to the age of the patients for which care is being provided.
