You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Supportive Services Coordinator will be responsible for training the support services staff performing file audits to evaluate compliance hold team meetings and provide case management overflow. The staff member in this position could be required to work various shifts outside of their regular schedule including nights weekends holidays and for timely crisis response.
There are multiple vacancies for this role. Pay rate is inclusive of a 2% Bilingual differential.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge skill and/or ability required of this position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associates Degree in Human Services or a related field; two years case management/housing navigation or social service experience; and/or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the job may be accepted.
CERTIFICATES LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
Driver qualifications are required for this position. Valid driver license insured vehicle available for use on the job and a satisfactory drive record for the previous three years are required.
Candidate must pass a comprehensive MWVCAA background screening prior to employment.
Basic Life Support/First Aid Certification is required within first 30 days of hire.
Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 30 days.
Candidate must pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screenings.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Basic proficiencies in MS Office (Outlook Word Excel) and proficiencies in using computer and phone apps.
Prior experience with Homeless Services Delivery preferred. Knowledge of social issues related to homelessness preferred.
Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to answer questions and explain information and decisions using tact and diplomacy.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee will also perform other reasonably related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
Facilitates the daily operations of support services operations.
Leads the team in the integration of national best practices in homeless services.
Provides training to support services staff on program policies and procedures.
Performs file audits ensuring support services staff are monitoring clients progress and maintaining detailed and up-to-date case
Enters required client data and service transactions into the Homeless Management Information System(HMIS).
Utilizes the Vulnerability Index Service Prioritization and Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT) assessment to determine case management placement and to develop an Action/Care Plan.
Assists in obtaining housing readiness documentation such as ID social security card and income verification.
Maintains client records daily activity logs mileage logs and other reports as directed.
Promotes a safe and healing environment for individuals who are victims of extreme trauma.
Attends and engage in required annual trainings.
Engages with community partners to identify additional community resources to maximize program opportunities.
Assists the Program Manager in evaluating staff members delivery of services.
Other duties as assigned to provide program support.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

This position requires the ability to move between areas of the building speaking hearing and visual abilities.
Multiple shifts may require variable work schedules between day evening and night which requires the ability to adjust to various work schedules and/or rotational work.
Requires the physical ability to be driver qualified to transport supplies and clients as needed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Close quarters often with a client population experiencing homelessness substance use disorders and/or severe and persistent mental illness and/or unpredictable behavior.
Indoor work environment with frequent interruptions and demands.
Work time will be encompass periods of sitting standing walking reaching squatting and a variety of office work that requires ability to read write and type.
Variable and flexible work hours including weekends.
Occasional exposure to biohazards requiring use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as gloves masks eye protection protective clothing and shoes or boots.
