Short-term contract: the initial engagement is estimated for 2 months with a high likelihood of extension
PROJECT
You will join a project dedicated to a European automotive customer focusing on the development and evolution of Ultrasonic Intrusion Protection (UIP) systems. Although the product is currently in the production phase change requests are continually arriving necessitating updates to existing software and the development of new solutions for upcoming car lines and additional features.
YOU WILL
- Manage the backlog and support the development team
- Conduct feasibility studies and estimations for new software features
- Collect analyze and document software requirements
- Support the Software Architect in defining the software architecture
- Coordinate and lead software-related activities across development phases
- Maintain contact with the client regarding technical/software aspects
- Mentor team members and support problem-solving
- Ensure project alignment with engineering and quality standards
- Collaborate with both local and remote teams
MUST HAVE
- 10 years of experience in a similar role
- MSc degree in Electronics Computer Science or a related field
- Expertise in Ultrasonic Intrusion Protection or similar automotive systems
- Experience with MDG Technology and Polarion for documentation and updates
- Languages: C# Python
- Involvement in at least two full software development cycles in an automotive or similarly structured company
- Strong knowledge of UML and software engineering tools
- Experience in direct client communication
- Fluent English (spoken and written)
- Strong team orientation and collaborative mindset
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience in leading or coordinating software projects
- Leadership skills and mentoring experience
