Job Description
Senior Distribution Designer (Multiple Positions) (Stantec Consulting Services Inc.; Denver CO):Perform detailed design and engineering calculations of overhead electric distribution systems to comply with client specifications and relevant industry standards such as NESC and GO95. Prepare permit drawings for construction projects. Model analyze and generate reports using PLS-CADD software for distribution power poles. Support day-to-day activities of utility infrastructure projects from inception through engineering construction commissioning and hand over. Provide training on AutoCAD PLS-CADD and related drafting applications to junior engineers.40 hours per week M-F (9:00 a.m.5:00 p.m.). Salary is $122366 per year.The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education qualifications experience & work location. Individuals in this position may be paid a discretionary bonus. #LI-DNI #GTM

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and 7 years of related work lieu of a Bachelors degree employer will accept an additional 2 years of related work experience.
Of the required experience must have 7 years of experience with the following: Design construction operations and maintenance of overhead and underground distribution lines at or below 34.5 kV; Consulting on power and electric utility infrastructure projects; and working with industry and local government Overhead Electric Line Construction standards.
Of the required experience must have 5 years of experience with the following: PLS-CADD.
Telecommuting permitted up to 5 days a week.
Travel to various locations throughout the US required up to 10%.
