Are you a fashion technology expert passionate about kidswear and ready to elevate your career LF Fashion a proud member of the Li & Fung family and a global leader in apparel design and sourcing is looking for a talented Kidswear Technologist to ensure our childrens accessory and apparel product ranges are not only innovative but meet the highest quality safety and commercial standards.
What youll do:
As a key player reporting to the SVP you will drive the development and delivery of on-trend high-quality kidswear and childrens accessory products by working closely with design buying and merchandising teams. Youll manage detailed technical specifications lead rigorous quality assurance and safety compliance initiatives and collaborate with overseas suppliers to maintain top-notch standards for childrens products. Your role is crucial in delivering garments that fit perfectly adhere strictly to childrens safety and regulatory requirements and maximize sales opportunities in the kidswear market.
Who you are:
- A proactive professional with 3 years experience in kidswear fashion technology including fabric knowledge product development and childrens sizing
- Experienced in working with offshore suppliers and understanding the global supply chain for kidswear products
- Skilled in analysing market trends and customer feedback specifically within the childrens apparel sector to keep product ranges competitive and profitable
- A natural leader who can guide and motivate cross-functional teams ensuring critical deadlines safety standards and quality benchmarks are met
- Proficient in product safety compliance and legal requirements specific to kidswear including chemical testing flammability standards and age-appropriate design considerations
