Glen Abbey Golf Club is hiring!
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Golf Course Mechanic to join our Turf Operation team at Glen Abbey Golf Club. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of our golf course equipment ensuring a top-tier experience for our members and guests.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on golf course equipment including but not limited to mowers tractors and utility vehicles.
- Conduct thorough inspections to identify and diagnose mechanical issues promptly.
- Execute engine repairs and demonstrate proficiency in reel grinding.
- Collaborate with the groundskeeping team to ensure equipment is in optimal condition for daily course maintenance.
- Prioritize and manage tasks efficiently demonstrating a sense of urgency to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities including repairs inspections and preventative maintenance schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment providing input for procurement while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
- Keep all tools and service equipment in safe and working order.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in engine repair hydraulic systems electrical systems and reel grinding.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
