Data & Insights Support Officer

As we continue to build our data and insights capability were looking for a Data & Insights Support Officer to join our team. This new role plays a key part in making sure our data systems dashboards and reports are accurate accessible and genuinely useful.

The Role

As part of the Data & Insights team youll help maintain dashboards respond to data queries support data cleaning and validation and contribute to building a culture of confident data driven decision making across the organisation.

Youll work closely with the Data & Insights Coordinator and report to the Data Insights & Finance Manager. Youll be someone who enjoys digging into the details keeping things tidy and accurate and helping others access and use data in a meaningful way.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a love of data strong attention to detail and a service mindset and whos ready to grow their skills as part of a supportive and purpose driven team.

In a nutshell you will:

1. Support the development and maintenance of dashboards reports and data visualisations
2. Assist with one-off data requests and help translate raw data into simple insights
3. Help validate and clean data to ensure accuracy and reliability
4. Support data modelling and light analysis under guidance
5. Troubleshoot access and system issues related to data platforms
6. Support training and documentation to lift data literacy across the organisation

Wed love to hear from you if you:

1. Have experience working with data tools like Excel and Power BI (or a strong desire to learn)
2. Are comfortable handling data with care and have a sharp eye for detail
3. Can communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and ask great questions
4. Are curious organised and like things to be tidy and efficient
5. Enjoy working as part of a team but also happy managing your own workload
6. Have a desire to grow your skills in data analytics reporting and system improvement
7. Understand or are open to learning about the not-for-profit or community sector
