GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Learning Assistant (LA) supports learners academic success and fosters a positive learning environment. The LA will work closely with learners to enhance instruction and provide individualized assistance. As a walk-in Learning Assistant you will have scheduled times to be available for support in the Learning Commons or Success Center locations. The availability will be between 8 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday.

The position involves sitting often in an office setting (frequently 34-66%). Constant (67-100%) talking and listening to people in person viewing a computer screen and other types of close visual work. Occasional (10-33%) stooping kneeling crouching reaching standing pushing pulling and lifting. Frequent (34-66%) walking grasping and repetitive motion.
