Job Description
Thrive By 5 is a pediatric therapy agency providing services to children birth-5 years old. We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide Center Based Pre-K services located in Syracuse NY. This is a full-time position but part-time can be considered. Clinical Fellows are welcome to apply.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
The essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide skilled Speech Therapy services to children within a Pre-K classroom in individual and group sessions.
- Contribute to the development and follow through of the IEP.
- Establish and maintain parent communication and education to support carryover across settings.
- Collaborate with other service providers to support IEP goals and objectives.
- Complete session notes and annual reviews as required.
- Collaborate with center-based team
- Maintain the highest clinical and ethical standards in service provision.
Qualifications:
- M.A. or M.S. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- NYS License in Speech Pathology (or CF eligible)
- Must demonstrate excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to collaborate with the clinical team and all related service providers on a caseload.
