Conduct regular site inspections risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards.
Monitor and ensure adherence to safety rules PPE usage and safe work practices.
Investigate accidents incidents and near-misses and prepare comprehensive reports with corrective action plans.
Organize and conduct safety training sessions toolbox talks and awareness programs for employees.
Maintain accurate records of safety inspections incident reports and compliance documentation.
Collaborate with management to ensure all safety requirements are integrated into operational procedures.
Stay updated with local and international safety regulations and ensure company compliance.
Coordinate emergency drills and ensure effective implementation of emergency response plans.
Liaise with government and regulatory agencies during safety inspections and audits.
Bachelor s Degree/Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety Engineering or a related field.
Certification in Safety Management (e.g. NEBOSH IOSH OSHA) is mandatory/preferred.
Minimum of 2 5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in industry.
Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and standards.
Excellent observation and analytical skills for hazard identification and risk assessment.
Good communication and interpersonal skills for training and coordinating with teams.
Ability to handle emergency situations and make quick decisions.
Proficient in preparing reports and maintaining safety documentation.
Familiarity with incident investigation procedures and root cause analysis techniques.
Ability to work in high-risk environments (construction/manufacturing/oil & gas sites).
Physical fitness and willingness to travel to different sites if required.
Strong commitment to fostering a safety-first culture across the organization.
