Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Seeking an experienced SAS Professional Services Consultant to provide limited high-impact technical support to the Client.
- The consultant will deliver specialized services in support of DAS/AP s enterprise data initiatives leveraging expertise in SAS software platforms and tools.
- Provide strategic consulting technical assistance and subject matter expertise on SAS products used within Treasury s accounting and reporting environments.
- Assist with performance tuning configuration and enhancement of SAS analytics/reporting workflows.
- Support Treasury staff in evaluating and applying best practices for SAS implementations upgrades or platform optimization.
- Advise on compliance data integrity and reporting accuracy in alignment with federal financial management standards.
- Collaborate with designated government stakeholders to ensure continuity and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- 5 years of hands-on experience with SAS 9.4 or newer
- Demonstrated experience working with federal financial systems reporting environments or Treasury-related data
- Deep understanding of SAS analytics tools data management and integration capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently with minimal oversight
- Prior consulting experience with U.S. Treasury IRS or related federal agencies
- SAS Certifications (e.g. SAS Certified Advanced Programmer SAS Certified Platform Administrator)
- Experience supporting data compliance initiatives (e.g. FISMA A-123 or OMB reporting)
