Status: Part TimeHourly
FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Program Coordinator is responsible for direct support for Northampton County Program.
- Program Coordinator should have a strong knowledge of the day-to-day operations of the program particularly as it relates to contract compliance service delivery and the client intake/referral process for services.
- This position oversees the Advocacy Services as it relates to the client case management and providing community outreach and support.
- The work has less to do with general office duties than with assisting in the operation or administration of a local program/unit.
Availability to work flexible hours up to 40 hours per week.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree preferred with commensurate experience in community-based agency programs except for programs where the referring authority requires a specific degree. Masters Degree a plus.
- At minimum at least one-year previous experience in managing personnel and budgets.
- 5 years of Adult waiver Intellectual Disabilities Experience preferred.
- Demonstrated communication skills both oral and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 is preferred; experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus.
- Experience in the provision of home and community-based services is a plus.
- Willing a consider non-degreed applicant with 2-5 years of experience.
- Reliable transportation valid drivers license and current auto insurance coverage
- Bilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.
