We offer an impressive product line a compelling value proposition and a dynamic team. We need a skilled Mechanical Engineer to help advance and sustain our radar products through design analysis and production sustainment.
What Youll Do:
- Component and assembly design including detailed analyses such as heat transfer and strength analysis
- Create and sustain design documentation including part/assembly drawings and bills of materials
- Design and support testing of radar systems to ensure compliance to requirements
- Work closely with partners and customers in a technical capacity.
- Mentor fellow engineers and contribute expertise.
- Operate with minimal oversight while taking the lead on projects when needed.
- Create and present compelling presentations to both internal and external customers
- Collaborate with IMSARs Manufacturing teams to support production of quality radar systems

What Were Looking For
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design and analysis.
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or related degree.
- US Citizen eligible for a US Government security clearance.
- Able to work onsite at our Springville Utah facility.
- Experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software (e.g. SolidWorks CATIA)
Preferred Skills:
- Aerospace mechanical system design
- Heat transfer fluid dynamics structural and vibration analyses
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Familiarity with various manufacturing processes (e.g. machining 3D printing composites)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks including part modeling assembly design and drawing creation
- Experience with environmental performance requirements and testing in accordance with standards such as MIL-STD-810
- Organization communication and documentation with proficiency in Atlassian Jira and Confluence software
