The Opportunity/Role
The Goods In Operator is responsible for the accurate receipt and storage of both manufactured and purchased stocks. Responsibilities will include:
To ensure full compliance with Safety Health and Environment (SHE) management policy procedure and systems
To work as part of a team to achieve OTIF ON TIME IN FULL delivery targets working within agreed quality and productivity standards.
To pick and pack product within agreed lead times using handheld & bar code devices to maintain excellent customer service levels.
Assisting with the unloading of vehicles and the checking in of stock To carry out duties as a Warehouse Operative in an effective and efficient manner
The safe use of a forklift truck within Warehouse 2 Training Provided To drive the company flat bed truck to deliver / collect goods from our local suppliers
Performing warehouse inventory controls via scanner and or through a computer
To attend and assist all regular stock checks including annual stock checks.
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Pay: 25625
Attendance bonus:300 per quarter (subject to 100% attendance)
Requirements:
A counterbalance forklift licence would be desirable
A full UK Driving License is essential as some driving duties may be required
Previous experience in a yard or warehouse environment
Ability to work independently or part of a team
