Building a better Bunbury
We have an exciting opportunity for a Waste Services Operator to be a part of our highly experienced waste operations team. Your safety is important to the City so active participation in daily planning and safety discussions will see you carrying out our waste collection bin maintenance and city cleaning programs with success.
Could this be the career move you are looking for
You will have previous experience in the operation of rear loading or side loading waste collection vehicles and advanced skills in the daily maintenance and operation of plant and machinery.
As well as these skills you will ideally have the following:
- A Heavy Rigid drivers licence
- Satisfactory National Police Clearance (under 12 months)
- The commitment to proving a high level of customer service to the Bunbury Community
- Ability to work collaboratively and safely in a team environment
What we offer you
In exchange for your hard work youll be well rewarded with a competitive salary of $85560 plus superannuation.
Other benefits include:
- 9-day fortnight
- Full-time permanent position (after completing a 3-month probationary period)
- 5 weeks annual leave with 17.5% leave loading
- Option to salary sacrifice additional Superannuation (contribute up to 5% of your salary and the City will match your contribution up to an additional 5%)
- Heavily reduced gym membership for the South West Sports Centre
