About the Opportunity

You will make an impact by

• Leading and mentoring a skilled civil maintenance team to deliver high-quality services.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation including the Road Management Act and OH&S standards.
• Managing budgets and resources to maximise efficiency and value for money.
• Overseeing inspections and maintenance of roadsides drainage systems and bridges.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to solve infrastructure challenges.

What you will bring

• Demonstrated leadership experience in civil maintenance or a related field.
• Proven ability to supervise employees and contractors across various infrastructure projects.
• Extensive knowledge of underground drainage roadside maintenance and bridge works.
• Strong understanding of relevant legislation risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with teams and the community.
• Budget management expertise with a focus on optimising project outcomes.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
