We are looking for a special kind of person - a St Vincents kind of person. Someone who puts excellence compassion connection and caring for other people at the heart of everything they do.
Reporting directly to the Revenue Manager the Revenue Officer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health of our Private Division. You will be at the forefront of producing high-quality accurate patient accounts whilst navigating health fund contract business rules. You will ensure all necessary claim forms and certification documents are meticulously completed and be the go-to person for all revenue-related inquiries providing professional and prompt support to staff patients and health funds. Beyond billing you will strategically manage aged debt working within departmental KPIs and contractual agreements and proactively liaise with health funds and patients to resolve outstanding claims. Your precision will also extend to cross-checking the accuracy of MBS item numbers Prostheses rebate codes entered and Theatre coding prior to billing.
We have two permanent opportunities available and can be based in Queensland New South Wales or Victoria in any of our St Vincents Private Hospitals. We have one (1) permanent full-time position and one (1) permanent part-time (3 days per week) position available on a hybrid working arrangement.
