Work Location:Atlanta GA (100% remote will only consider applicants from the following states:

Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uses technical skills and provides guidance and direction in the development implementation and maintenance fo complex production information systems.
- Leads and conducts research in automation techniques to improve application performance efficiency and testing.
- Determines and directs testing methodologies and techniques.
- Adheres to internal controls and standards established for department.
- Provides leadership in isolating and solving problems within application systems interfaces and middleware infrastructure.
- Will act as a mentor and provide leadership to all levels of Technical Application Specialist.
- Plans and coordinates programming projects within a particular work group.
- Provides production support in a 7 X 24 Tier 1 environment.
- Must be able to lead engage and mentor others to achieve a very high level of application systems availability and integration.
- Assists and advises subordinate personnel in the solution of highly technical and complex problems and solutions.
- Functions as a senior programming consultant in advanced computer technology and architecture. Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree from a recognized college or university with major course work in computer science Information Technology engineering or equivalent related experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in application systems/administration OR 9 years experience without a degree.
- Prefer proficiency in at least two computer languages used currently in production. Must be able to lead problem solving efforts when mission critical systems are interrupted.
