Overview
$4000 Sign-On Bonus for Child Care Specialist / Direct Care Worker (Pro-rated by hours worked)- limited time only!
New pay rate starting at $20.00-$21.92 per hour!
Schedule: Saturday and Sunday 9am-9pm home visit driver with flexiblity based on travel requirements.
Stetson School is an affiliate of Seven Hills Foundation. We are a residential treatment program for youth with trauma related complex behaviors currently hiring Direct Care Workers / Direct Support Professionals for all shifts.

Drivers will:
- Engage and interact with our students promoting a positive and healing community by serving as a positive role model.
- Be a part of a therapeutic team that supports students development through individualized treatment goals.
- Use treatment goals to provide a pathway for learning healthy life skills and aid in healing trauma all the while supporting the progression of normative child and adolescent development.
- Follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly at all times.
- Avoid distractions while driving; stay focused and alert.
- Ensure safe pickup and drop-off procedures.
- Create a calm and safe environment for child passengers.
- Monitor children during transport to ensure their safety and well-being.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents or guardians as needed.

Residential Counselors/ Direct Support Professionalsare provided apaid10-day New Employee Orientation and receive training on CPR/First Aid Crisis Prevention Intervention & Trauma-Informed Care. They also receive program-specific training at the worksite.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 18 years old
- Minimum of HiSET/GED High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Valid Drivers License & Good Driving Record
- Must pass Criminal DCF Abuse and Neglect Sex offender Registry and Federal
Fingerprinting background record checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to work as a creative engaged dedicated member of the Stetson team.
