Job Description
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Sales Assistant to join our trucking company and provide essential support to the sales department. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities. You will assist with coordinating shipments maintaining customer communication tracking sales activity and ensuring client satisfaction.
This is a full-time in-office role based in Lakewood. Experience in trucking or logistics is a plus but not requiredwere willing to train the right person.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support sales reps with administrative tasks and client follow-ups
- Coordinate orders dispatch information and customer communication
- Maintain CRM systems and update client records
- Assist in preparing quotes contracts and invoices
- Track leads sales activity and ensure timely responses
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve basic client inquiries
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems
- Prior administrative or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Experience in trucking/logistics is a plus but not required
