Job Location: Trinity Health Hospital Campus & Medical District - Minot ND
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: $57.36 - $86.04 Hourly
Job Shift: Days/Evenings
Job Category: Pharmacy
Description
The informatics pharmacist will maintain test implement and integrate all databases related to technology/automation within the Pharmacy system as well as systems that interface with other areas of the hospital in regards to medication management. Evaluates and supervises the accurate and efficient use of technology in operational areas such as drug distribution. The informatics pharmacist will also serve as the pharmacy computer Super User and will be available when needed by staff to trouble shoot and resolve complex issues regarding pharmacy software.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications Required Active Pharmacist Licensure in the State of North Dakota. Educational Requirements Experience Requirements Minimum of 5 years hospital pharmacy experience. Knowledge and technology experience associated with pharmacy automated dispensing machines. Expertise on Pyxis support preferred. Knowledge with Electronic Medical Record applications. Proficiency of Cerner applications preferred. Pharmacy Residency training in informatics preferred but not required. Special Skills or Training Requirements Knowledge in pharmacy and computer applications including implementation integration standardization and maintenance of systems Knowledge of order management automated dispensing machines CPOE packagers and barcoding applications required Ability to perform duties requiring independent judgment Excellent communication skills Excellent organizational skills Excellent computer skills and information systems Adaptive to changing work environment Ability to handle frequent interruptions Excellent interpersonal skills Analytical ability Patient safety experience
