What You Will Do:
-Operates basic GPS equipment (Ipad) and state provided vehicle.
-Help generate basic maps and visualizations for internal use and reporting.
-Assist with the collection and verification of pavement markings and other roadway assets using iPads and Field Maps.
-Review and analyze collected data for accuracy and completeness.
-Support field crews and staff with GIS tools and contribute to improving data workflows.

We are seeking Civil Engineering Computer Science GIS Geography & Planningstudents to apply for a college intern position for the following semesters: Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. These are part-time during the school year/class schedule but can be full-time during the summer.
Applicant MUST be enrolled in a college or university and in good academic standing.
Preferred Majors are: Civil Engineering Computer Science GIS Geography & Planning.
Must show proof of valid Drivers License in order to operate state vehicles.
This position is overtime eligible based upon FLSA Standards.
Temporary appointments are unclassified pursuant to O.R.C. 124.30 (29).
This internship will begin the semester the applicant has indicated and end at the conclusion of the semester.
