The Director of the Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies is pleased to announce a onesemester teaching fellowship at the University of Rochester which is available for Fall 2026. Applications will be considered in all fields of the humanities and social sciences.
The recipient of the grant will teach one course (4 credits) in the Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies which will be listed with one of the departments in the social sciences or the humanities and will be expected to give a public lecture to the University community and the local Polish-American community.
The Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies is requesting applications from Jagiellonian University faculty who hold a Ph.D. degree for semester-long teaching visits. Candidates must have excellent English skills. Prior experience teaching in the United States is beneficial but not required.
