About the role
The Impairment Benefits Specialist is to manage the end-to-end impairment determination process for injured workers in accordance withlegislative requirements.
Key Skills Required:
Problem Solving & Decision Making: Strong analytical and reasoning ability.
Negotiation & Influencing: Ability to negotiate effectively.
Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
Work Management: Good organizational and time management skills.
Customer Service: Focus on serving injured workers and stakeholders.
Completion of AMA4 training by Work Safe Victoria.
Minimum 2 years claims management experience (or equivalent).
Experience working with the legal profession.
Extensive knowledge of medical and paramedical terminology and procedures including treatments.
Experience managing hearing device claims.
