Through the unique integration of a college preparatory academic curricula four years of professional work experience and support to and through college Cristo Rey students are achieving their aspirations for postsecondary success at rates exceeding their peers. Founded in 2018 CRFW is the 35th school in the Cristo Rey Network an association of 40 schools dedicated to preparing students for attending and graduating from four-year colleges and universities. Position Summary Cristo Rey Fort Worth is seeking a flexible self-motivated and mission-driven Athletic Coordinator to continue building and supporting our growing athletic program. This role is responsible for overseeing the development of student-athletes coordinating athletic events and fostering a strong school spirit while upholding the values of our Catholic college-preparatory institution. What Youll Do General Responsibilities - Lead the continued development and growth of the athletic program ensuring alignment with the schools mission and student success
- Support student-athletes by fostering leadership teamwork and personal growth on and off the field
- Collaborate with the Physical Education teacher to support program development and student engagement
- Manage and oversee compliance with Texas Christian Athletic Fellowship (TCAF) policies CRFW athletic policies and student discipline guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with administration coaches student-athletes and families to ensure program success
- Recruit mentor and oversee coaching staff while maintaining a positive and professional coaching environment
- Develop and manage the athletic budget fundraising efforts and opportunities for program sustainability
- Plan schedule and oversee athletic events tryouts offseason activities and summer programs
- Ensure student-athlete eligibility compliance maintaining records and reports
- Work with school leadership to promote school spirit pride and participation in athletic-related functions
- Uphold school values policies and expectations while fostering a culture of excellence

- Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by the Principal
Who You Are - Bachelors Degree Required
- Physical Education Kinesiology or related field
- Experience in coaching athletic administration or program development preferred
- Passion for working with diverse student-athletes in an urban Catholic school setting
- Commitment to the mission and vision of Cristo Rey Fort Worth High School
- Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to develop and sustain an athletic program that aligns with academic success and social-emotional growth
- Familiarity with TCAF regulations and athletic program compliance preferred
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficiency in integrating technology to manage the budget communication and other needs as they arise (Google Suite campus)
- Adaptable and able to be flexible in an entrepreneurial educational nonprofit
- Available to begin working in the 2025-2026 school year which starts in July 2025
- Complete VIRTUS training sign a Code of Conduct and pass a background check
- Athletic Trainer licensure or certification preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
