Description
The Provider Enrollment Specialist plays a key role in the revenue cycle process by ensuring providers are properly enrolled and re-enrolled with government and third-party payors contracted with Trinity Health. Under the direction of the Revenue Compliance leadership this role is responsible for managing provider applications updating payor directories and maintaining accurate provider enrollment records.
This position requires strong attention to detail effective communication with internal departments and external payors and the ability to meet strict deadlines. The Provider Enrollment Specialist also assists in preparing materials for third-party audits and resolving enrollment-related issues.
Remote work may be allowed at managements discretion and can be revoked as needed.

Educational Requirements
Associates degree in healthcare business or related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
3 years of experience in medical billing payor enrollment credentialing or healthcare administration required.
Special Skills or Training Requirements
Proficiency in payor enrollment systems credentialing databases and hospital information systems (HIS).
Knowledge of third-party payor policies provider credentialing and contract management.
Strong attention to detail organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with payors providers and internal teams.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word Outlook) and familiarity with NCQA or similar credentialing tools.
Ability to work independently meet deadlines and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
