Job Description
This is a part-time (2 days per week 0.4 FTE) 12-month fixed term contract position.
Kickstart your career in community health! Were offering an exciting opportunity for a student or graduate to join our Active Living Team as a Health and Wellbeing Officer.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Active Living Team as our Health and Wellbeing Officer.
The Health and Wellbeing Officer plays a crucial role in enhancing community well-being by:
- Supporting the development and delivery of initiatives aligned with Councils Health and Wellbeing program with a focus on healthy eating and food education.
- Collaborating with community members local organisations and stakeholders to understand and respond to community needs.
- Assisting in the design and coordination of programs that promote physical mental and social wellbeing including events and workshops.
- Gathering feedback and helping adapt programs to ensure they remain relevant and impactful.
Were looking for someone who:
- Is currently studying or has completed a qualification in public health health promotion community nutrition or a related field (desirable).
- Is passionate about making a difference and delivering positive outcomes for the community.
- Has experience or a strong interest in promoting community wellbeing through evidence-based approaches.

This is a Level 3 position which has a current salary range of $34336 - $36927 (0.4 FTE) per annum plus Super.
