Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (08:30 AM 05:00 PM) Monday Friday

We are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (MA-C) to support its Advanced Cardiac Support outpatient clinic. This local-only opportunity is contract-to-hire and offers a weekday schedule with no weekends or call. Ideal candidates will have cardiology or general/family practice experience and a current WA MA-C license. Strong candidates with 6 months of experience in outpatient settings will be considered.
Responsibilities:-
Perform patient intake duties including rooming vitals collection (BP temp pulse respiratory rate SpO2) and height/weight measurements

Administer 12-lead ECGs and assist with routine outpatient cardiac procedures
-
Conduct lab draws as required
-
Prepare exam rooms and assist providers during patient visits including positioning/draping and collecting health history
-
Handle medication refill requests and pharmacy calls
-
Complete chart preparation authorization forms and assist with general office duties
-
Stock supplies and maintain clean organized workspaces
-
Make follow-up calls to patients as directed
-
Potentially float between clinics based on skillset and operational need

Experience:
-
Minimum 6 months of experience working as a Medical Assistant
-
Cardiology experience preferred
-
Will also consider candidates with general/family practice background

Certifications Required:

BLS (AHA)
-
WA State MA-C License (Must be active at time of submission pending license not accepted)

First-Time Travelers: Accepted

Weekend Requirement: None Monday to Friday only

On-Call: Not required

Floating: May float between outpatient clinics within scope

Block Scheduling: Not accommodated

Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week pay period

Local-Only Role: Candidates must reside within 50 miles of facility

Transportation: Reliable personal transportation required no public transportation allowed

Education:
-
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
-

Experience:

6 months in an outpatient clinical setting

Experience in cardiology preferred but not required
