Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled B-Level Automotive Technician to join our team approx. 40 miles southeast of Kansas City Kansas. The ideal candidate will have GM experience (preferred not required) possess a background in automotive diagnostics and repair with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves working on various vehicle systems and requires proficiency in using power tools and performing maintenance tasks.
Duties
- Conduct diagnostics on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform repairs on vehicles ensuring adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Execute alignments and other adjustments to enhance vehicle performance and safety.
- Utilize power tools effectively for various repair tasks ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their vehicle needs and repair options.
- Collaborate with service advisor/service manager to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Stay updated on the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through ongoing training.
Skills
- GM technician - preferred (other OEMs with minimum 2 years experience)
- Proficient in automotive diagnostics with an understanding of automotive electrical systems.
- Experience in welding is a plus enhancing the ability to perform diverse repairs.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices and procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to clients.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks performed.
