Job Description

RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Permanent Role)

Location: Rowlett TX 75088
Shift: 12 HR Nights 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver direct and individualized nursing care to neonates in the NICU.
  • Monitor vital signs assess patient conditions and administer medications or treatments.
  • Utilize specialized equipment such as incubators ventilators and IV pumps.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement and evaluate care plans.
  • Communicate effectively with families providing updates education and emotional support.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
  • Adhere to infection control protocols safety procedures and hospital policies.
  • Respond rapidly to emergencies and participate in neonatal resuscitations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (preferred or required within a specified time frame).
  • At least 1 year of RN experience in a Level II III or IV NICU.
