Job Description
Job Location: Pleasanton CA
- As a software Test Engineer specializing in cloud applications verification you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality reliability and performance of web portals for the medical industry.
- Youll work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement comprehensive test strategies that meet regulatory requirements while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Designing and executing test cases for cloud web applications based on requirements specifications
- Creating and maintaining traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are properly tested
- Generating test protocols based on approved test cases
- Performing thorough functional regression and integration testing of web applications
- Identifying documenting and tracking defects through resolution using test management tools
- Collaborating with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Updating test documentation as requirements evolve
- Contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience testing applications in the medical technology industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical device software verification processes
- Experience with regulatory compliance testing for medical applications (FDA ISO 13485 IEC 62304)
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or GCP) and testing cloud-native applications
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman SoapUI or similar)
- Experience with test management tools (JIRA TestRail or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
