Role Overview
As a UX Researcher at Stage you will help our teams deeply understand user behavior needs and challenges. You will collaborate closely with product designers product managers and engineers to ensure a strong insight-backed approach to solving user and business problems.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research (interviews surveys focus groups usability testing etc.).
- Analyze user behavior data session recordings heatmaps and other insights to improve user experience.
- Build user personas journey maps and empathy maps to understand audience pain points.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and product teams to translate research findings into actionable design improvements.
- Work closely with target audience groups to ensure cultural and linguistic alignment in the UX strategy.
- Present research findings to stakeholders with clear data-backed recommendations.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in UX research or human-centered design.
- Strong knowledge of user research methodologies and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience with research tools like Hotjar Google Analytics Mixpanel UserTesting Lookback etc.
- Ability to analyze and interpret qualitative & quantitative data effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in Hindi and English (regional dialect knowledge is a plus).
- Experience working in a startup environment or on ambitious zero-to-one projects in established organizations.
