Job Summary
- Design execute and finalize a scientific research project supported by TÜBİTAK 2232 A/B Program.
- Conduct innovative high-impact research utilizing the R&D infrastructure of the host institution.
- Establish and manage a research team (graduate students and postdoctoral researchers).
- Ensure effective implementation of the research plan work packages budget and timeline.
- Prepare and submit periodic progress and final reports to TÜBİTAK.
- Publish research findings in international peer-reviewed journals and generate patents/intellectual property outputs.
- Contribute to academic activities of the host institution (if university teaching at least two courses per year).
- Maximize the scientific technological and economic impact of the research outcomes for Turkey.
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
Engineering background (Materials Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical & Electronics Engineering Mechatronics Engineering)
Minimum of 1 year of postdoctoral research experience abroad or at least 1 year of private sector experience abroad after completing a bachelors or masters degree plus a total of 4 years of research experience
Project development experience in Türkiye for a minimum of 24 months and a maximum of 36 months
Meeting at least one of the following criteria:
Being listed among Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researchers
Having worked for at least 12 months within the last 5 years at a university ranked in the top 150 by QS or THE
Having work experience in one of the worlds top 2500 R&D spending companies
Having been affiliated with an institution ranked in the top 250 by Scimago
Having work experience in unicorn/start-up companies listed among the highest funded firms
