Job Description
Staff Accountant
Location: Lake in the Hills IL
Compensation: $75000-$85000 annually
AFC is seeking a motivated on-site Staff Accountant to join our team. As a staff accountant you will perform functions to assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements and analytical reporting.
What Youll Do
- Prepares accounting-related entries to numerous registers and journals.
- Performs monthly bank reconciliations.
- Regularly maintains detailed reconciliations and detailed analyses.
- Prepares documentation for external auditors.
- Processes payroll including 401k loans and wage garnishments.
What Youll Bring
- Proficient in MS Teams Word and Excel
- Experience with Job Costing and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with INFOR Syteline ERP Oracle Cloud Fusion or similar ERP software is required.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting practices.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Bachelors degree in accounting
- 3 years prior accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Public Accountant Certificate preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish in a professional capacity preferred.
