Job Description
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Architectural Technician to join our York Division based in Elvington.
Experience of working in Construction as an Architectural Technician or transferable skills in construction design (i.e. architect engineer technologist) is highly desirable as is having a broad understanding of all design disciplines.
You will be based within our BMS Small Works team where the majority of the projects will be alterations and refurbishments. This could be an extension moving of windows doors etc. Do to the high volume of projects we are looking for someone who understands the importance of working to deadlines.
The role would best suit someone who has previous CAD experience ideally within a construction company as you will require a knowledge of BIM standards or a Graduate who has completed a placement within a building company.
Further requirements to include:
The ability to do in house design i.e. Architect or Technologist would be highly advantageous as would experience working in BREEAM projects Passivhaus/AECB experience couple with the ability to review BRUKL assessments
