Our school day is 8:15am -3:30pm (with 1/2-hour unpaid lunch).
Full mobility across the trust.
We have an exciting opportunity to appoint an experienced dedicated friendly and professional HLTA who can work effectively with children with special educational needs and challenging behaviours. You would be expected to deliver a nurture-based style intervention provision for a small number of children daily working alongside the class addition you would have a passion to help embed a successful breakfast and after school provision.

You will:
have strong relationship building skills and techniques
be passionate about helping children reach their potential despite challenges
be able to communicate clearly with children and adults verbally and in writing
have experience of working with all ages of children in school
be able to support a range of abilities of pupils with SEND
be able to contribute to assessments
be able to adhere to policies and procedures and follow GDPR guidelines
be confident in supporting good behaviour management skills and in deploying a range of behaviour management strategies
have a desire to participate in school and trust CPD opportunities
have a full understanding of Safeguarding.
Qualifications:
Essential: grade C /4 in level Numeracy and Literacy and a basic level of computer literacy.
Desirable: a relevant HLTA qualification TA qualification or relevant experience.
Line manager: Academy Head.
Training: Induction program provided and a bespoke package of CPD will be arranged as required.
