Job Description
Position Description:
Shipping
Verify all products are labeled correctly.
Ensure the correct load number staged is on the correct load number shipping.
Check-in returns from customer.
Verify the product being shipped is not damaged.
Receiving
Verify incoming product (Raw/ Finished goods) is damage free and part number corresponds with receiving documents.
Open buns and document measurements.
Performs all duties according to established safety quality and efficiency procedures; and maintains workstation in a neat clean and orderly fashion.
Follow all safety policies protocols and procedures.
Communicates with operators as well as management to correct any issues.
Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
Attention to Detail 2 years experience in quality control preferred.
Proficiency in using a tape measure in standard and metric units.
Basic English reading/writing skills required.
Work experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.
Willing to work overtime longer days and some weekends as needed.
Ability to follow directions and work well in a team.
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. multiple times per day (heavy loads must be team lifted)
Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulations.
Ability to adapt to and work in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to help in other areas.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) preferred.
Education Experience/Certifications:
Education: High School Diploma GED or work experience Years of Experience: 2 years preferred.
Additional Information:
Languages Spoken: Read write and communicate in English.
