The Finance & Administration Officer is responsible for managing and supporting routine office operations finance functions and administrative activities. The role ensures that financial transactions are accurately recorded and that administrative support is efficiently delivered across the organization. The position serves as a vital link between staff clients and stakeholders ensuring smooth internal operations and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Manage day-to-day financial transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
Process invoices receipts payroll and statutory deductions (PAYE SDL NSSF WCF City Service Levy).
Enter financial data into QuickBooks and ensure completeness and accuracy.
Prepare monthly quarterly and annual financial reports.
Support audits by preparing required documentation and ensuring internal controls are followed.
Coordinate banking activities including setting up managing and balancing accounts.
Assist the Country Buiness Manager in financial data analysis and budget preparation.
Oversee general office operations and support administrative functions.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial and administrative records.
Ensure accuracy in documentation invoicing and client communication.
Support procurement processes and inventory control.
Process staff payroll and benefits.
Ensure timely preparation and submission of statutory returns.
Review and improve internal financial and administrative processes.
Implement internal controls and ensure policy compliance.
Bachelor s Degree in Accounting Finance or a related field from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2 years of experience in finance and administrative roles.
Proven ability to manage financial transactions and office operations.
Experience working with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and statutory obligations in Tanzania.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
High level of accuracy integrity and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Fluency in both English and Kiswahili.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Respectful and tactful when dealing with clients and staff from diverse backgrounds.
Punctual reliable and self-motivated.
