Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to F5 Load Balancers and Privileged Remote Access (PRA) across Layers 1 to 7.
Design implement and maintain security measures on F5 appliances to mitigate potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Install configure and maintain F5 BigIP (LTM GTM NLB) load balancers per network and application requirements.
Collaborate with software developers and application teams to optimize load balancing strategies and ensure seamless application delivery.
Develop and manage iRules and policies to enforce traffic management and security logic.
Provide on-call support and respond to high-priority incidents or outages as part of a 24/7 rotational support model.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices and company standards related to network and application security.
Maintain documentation of configurations processes and procedures for ongoing operations and audits.
8 years of hands-on experience with F5 BigIP LTM GTM NLB including configuration optimization and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in creating and troubleshooting iRules for traffic steering and security enforcement.
Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP HTTP/HTTPS DNS SSL/TLS) and application ports.
Familiarity with Cisco routing and switching technologies.
Experience with cloud-based load balancers (AWS ELB Azure Load Balancer).
Ability to diagnose issues across Layer 1 7 and work with cross-functional teams to resolve them efficiently.
Willingness and ability to work in a 24/7 rotational shift schedule including weekends and holidays.
