My client design and manufactures a range of bespoke commercial rooms for a variety of clients. They are looking to take on a CAD Design Engineer on a permanent basis in Stafford.
TheCADEngineer/MechanicalDesignEngineerwillideallyhavethefollowingattributes:
- BeDegree/HND/HNCqualifiedinMechanicalEngineeringorasimilarEngineeringsubject
- Graduatelevelwillbeconsideredaswellasthosewith2-5yearsormoreofindustryexperienceworkinginaCAD/designrole
- Goodattentiontodetail
- KnowledgeofCADsoftwareInventororRevit
- ExperiencewithJoineryoranyformofwoodworkisdesirablebutnotanecessity
- ProficientwithusingMicrosoftOfficeprogrammes
- Excellentcommunicationskills
- Abilitytoworkwellaloneaswellaspartofateam
- FlexibilitytotravelasrequiredasalargepartoftheroletocustomersitesbothintheUKandabroad
- Someonewhoiskeentoprogressanddevelopwithacompanylongterm
TheCADEngineer/MechanicalDesignEngineerrolewillinvolve:
- WorkingaspartoftheDrawingOffice
- SupportingboththeProjectsandProcessEngineeringteams
- WorkingtoproducedrawingsusingInventorCADsoftware
- Creatinglayoutsanddetaileddrawingsinlinewithstandards
- Keepingontopofprojectschedules
- Checkingandreviewingdrawings
