The Role
This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of Australian music. As the Manager Music Programming youll be the first to hear the best new music both from Australian and global artists and be instrumental in defining the music programming for the triple j network.
This leadership role will see you manage and inspire a passionate team of music lovers and work in partnership with the Head of triple j and Double J to develop and lead the strategic vision for music curation across the network.
High-level music programming experience content strategy skills and deep understanding of the Australian music landscape is critical with a focus on innovative programming to drive audience growth and retention.
This year marks 50 years of triple j and were as passionate as ever about championing local artists and delivering music events and content for young Australians. This role is at the forefront of driving this work forward in the years to come.

About You
A genuine music lover who has a deep understanding of music trends across genres and a high-level understanding of the Australian music landscape. You also have experience in music programming for radio or other relevant media platforms.
You have a data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret analytics and performance metrics. You will also possess extensive high-level experience in editorial leadership and a proven track record at a senior level in audio content delivery.
Youll be able to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and significant leadership experience including the ability to influence a range of stakeholders.
