Job Description
Chase Staffing is currently hiring a Seamstress in the Marietta GA area.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Machine Operation:Operating various types of sewing machines including single needle double needle and serging machines.
- Material Handling:Loading and positioning fabric thread and other materials under the machine needle often using guides or templates.
- Stitching and Assembly:Guiding materials to create seams hems or decorative stitching ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
- Quality Control:Inspecting finished products for defects ensuring proper stitching measurements and alignment of patterns and colors.
- Machine Maintenance:Monitoring machine operation for issues replacing thread and needles and performing basic maintenance or reporting problems.
- Material Preparation:Cutting excess thread and fabric folding and stretching materials and preparing items for sewing.
- Record Keeping:May track the quantity of materials processed or other production data.
- Following Instructions:Reading and interpreting work orders production schedules and quality control standards.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have sewing machine experience
