Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of medical office procedures ensuring adherence to established methods and best practices
- Schedule appointments maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with patients and teammates
- Proofread and review documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Utilize Microsoft Office software (Word Excel) and medical records software proficiently
- Follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail
- Support daily operations to ensure the best possible care for our residents and patients
Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience and proven skill in medical office procedures required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to comprehend and follow both written and verbal instructions
- Effective communication and scheduling abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word Excel) and medical records software
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
- Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility on foot
- Capable of lifting a minimum of 35 pounds
- Willingness to sit at a desk and work at a computer for extended periods
- Ability to bend stoop and reach as necessary
