About the Position
Join our team at Como Zoo and Conservatory!
We are hiring a passionate and organized EducationCoordinator to lead Comos CARES (Connection Access Reach Engagement Storytelling) team and manage a wide range of mission-driven programs that support conservation education and community this position youll play a key role in developing and sustaining partnerships managing logistics and supporting programs and initiatives that center empathy accessibility and impact.
Heres what you can expect to do:- Manage multiple projects and programs simultaneously including scheduling budgeting purchasing and tracking progress.
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to co-create and deliver high-impact programs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with community organizations and other stakeholders.
- Support programming that is welcoming accessible and tailored to the needs of diverse audiences.
- Increase outreach and engagement with underserved communities across Minnesota.

Position Requirements
A Bachelors Degree and four years of experience working in formal or informal educational settings with at least two of the four years of experience working in one or more of the following areas: teaching in an early childhood development setting teaching in a school or organizational group setting coordinating interpretative programming in a recreational setting.
Must possess a valid Minnesota Class D Drivers License or equivalent out-of-state drivers license.A combination of education and experience to equal 8 years or more can be used to qualify for the position.
