We are currently hiring experienced Dozer Operators to support major site development and infrastructure projects across the this role youll be operating CAT dozers in the D6D8 size range for excavation grading and earthmoving work.
This position is open to both local and international candidates. While youll start the role as a non-union worker youll be required to join the union upon placement with the client. Wages will align with the applicable union rates: $45$49/hour.
Operate CAT D6D8 dozers for general grading material spreading and site shaping
Follow direction from site supervisors and contribute to a productive team environment
Perform pre- and post-operational equipment checks and log maintenance issues
Read and follow site plans elevations and slope requirements
Collaborate with ground crews and other operators to complete daily targets
Maintain safe work practices and adhere to all site safety rules
Perform light equipment cleaning and daily upkeep
At least 23 years of experience operating CAT D6D8 dozers
Previous work on excavation grading or civil construction sites
Ability to read basic site drawings and grading specs
Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and safety awareness
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or currently pursuing work authorization
Willingness to join the union upon hire (support provided if not already a member)
This is a full-time role Monday to Friday (40 hours/week). Overtime may be available based on project needs and is paid in accordance with provincial labour laws. Job sites are located across the GTA and surrounding regions. Reliable transportation to and from site is expected.
